USP Structural Connectors Joins NLBMDA's Manufacturers and Services Council

WASHINGTON, DC - The National Lumber and Building Material Dealers Association (NLBMDA) announced that USP Structural Connectors is the newest member of the association's Manufacturers and Services Council (MSC). The council is composed of the leading building material manufacturers and services providers serving the LBM industry.

United Steel Products Company, a subsidiary of MiTek Industries Incorporated, a Berkshire Hathaway Company, is a structural connector manufacturer serving the residential and commercial building industries throughout the North America. USP's product line encompasses over 4,000 finished part numbers: standard construction hardware for the residential and multi-residential construction and retail/do-it-yourselfer markets. USP also offers a complete line of connectors for the Engineered Lumber and Plated Truss industries. This full-range product line is backed up by an in-house engineering staff, technical assistance team, leading edge software design programsand Customer Service.

USP products are manufactured in three locations across the United States: Livermore, California; Montgomery, Minnesota; and Largo, Florida; and one Canadian location in Thornhill, Ontario.

MSC members are established industry leaders who supply products and services to lumber and building material dealers and regional chains across the nation. The dedicated members of the council share a commitment to promoting and enhancing the success of independent dealers and regional chains.
