As we head into the 2024 election season, join Axios’ National Political Correspondent Alex Thompson as he gives his perspective on the issues driving the agenda in Washington and the campaign trail.

Alex Thompson is Axios' national political correspondent covering the 2024 election. He previously worked a White House correspondent for POLITICO where he created the daily newsletter West Wing Playbook about the Biden administration. He previously wrote for Vice News and assisted Maureen Dowd at The New York Times. Thompson is currently working on a book about the Biden administration.
